Pentair acquired Porous Media, a privately held Minnesota company with manufacturing operations in both Minnesota and Texas. The acquisition accelerates the Company's water strategy by strengthening its filtration and separation technology portfolio and extending its reach into attractive new markets.

Pentair acquired the assets of Jung Pumpen a leading German manufacturer of wastewater products for the municipal and residential markets. Jung brings to Pentair its strong application engineering expertise, and a complementary product offering, including a new line of water re-use products, submersible wastewater and drainage pumps, wastewater disposal units and tanks.

Pentair acquired seventy percent (70%) of the equity of Beijing Jieming Tiandi Environmental Equipment Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese manufacturer of FRP pressure tanks, disc filters, valve and systems used in water filtration, softening and systems applications. The companies' joint venture will be named Beijing Pentair Water Jieming Company.
