The Pentair Foundation seeks to help communities affect the health and welfare of their citizens by providing resources that strengthen and enhance the lives of individuals.
Programs of specific interest to The Foundation offer:
- Water quality education, conservation and action to address the unique needs of the communities in which Pentair operates.
- Assistance to individuals in achieving self-sufficiency, including job training, education assistance and resources, and affordable housing.
- Entrepreneurial opportunities for and with economically disadvantaged individuals.
- Opportunities for youth to gain life skills in an environment that encourages cross-cultural understanding and respect for individuals.
- Services for youth in crisis.
- Access to health care services for under-served individuals and families. Programs must offer preventative education and resources on health and safety issues to the community at large.
- Assistance, education, and rehabilitation services for those suffering from physical and/or mental disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.
The Foundation also contributes to:
- United Way campaigns in communities where Pentair operations are located.
- Education institutions in the United States through a Matching Gift Program for Pentair employees, retirees, and Board members.
