Always a champion for the best new ideas, Pentair Equipment Protection is among a group of companies collaborating to put park2power on the streets. This new modular product platform allows electric vehicles to be plugged in and recharged while at a parking meter.

park2power novel concept allows users to freely select their preferred electricity provider from those integrated into the system. Vehicle recharging costs are simply included on users’ home energy bills. As the only system in the world with these functionalities, park2power demonstrates a serious commitment to eco-friendly mobility.

Since its inception in 2009, park2power has evolved from concept to reality. Pentair Equipment Protection has been there every step of the way, with enclosures supplied by its Schroff brand. Responsibilities have included production of the outdoor cabinet enclosure, integration of the system and project management at the start of the endeavor.
