What is the difference between under sink, countertop, and whole home systems?

Under sink and countertop systems are filtration systems that reduce chemical contaminants and sediment from the faucet where it is installed (point-of-use) whereas a whole home filtration system does the same thing at the point where the water enters the home (point-of-entry), resulting in a higher quality of water throughout the entire home. Under sink and countertop systems are more cost-effective ways to improve your water at individual faucets.

Do under sink filtration systems come with everything I need to install?

Yes, your Pentair under sink filtration system is equipped with everything you need to successfully install your system (excluding tools). In your manual you will find a list of all components that are included, and a list of additional tools/items needed to help with the installation.

How much space is required for this system to fit underneath my sink?

You will need approximately 18” depth x 6” width x 17.5” height of space underneath your sink for most under sink filtration systems to fit. Please confirm with the product manual for exact specifications.

What if my countertop doesn’t currently have a hole for the faucet?

Don’t have an existing side faucet? No problem! Check our product manuals for instructions to create the faucet hole in your countertop.

What do I need to install the faucet?

You will need masking tape, a center punch, a ¼” drill bit , a 1-1/4” hole saw, and a file to install your under sink filtration system. Confirm with the product manual for exact requirements.
