IntelliConnect Control and Monitoring System

FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW TO UPDATE YOUR IntelliCONNECt Firmware

STEP 1: Make sure your intelliconnect is online and communicating with your internet service

A good connection will be indicated by a solid green link light on the IntelliConnect device. If the light is blinking green or red disconnect power to the unit by turning the unit off at the breaker, wait at least 15 seconds and then reconnect power.  The light should turn to a solid green once reconnected to the internet. This could take a few minutes.

STEP 2: INSTALL First UPDATE

Once you have a good connection, press “Install Update” in your Pentair Link2O™ Technology App to install the Wireless Technology Firmware Update. Once the update begins, a screen will appear that says, “Device Updating!” Do not disconnect power from your IntelliConnect during this installation process. During the update, the link light may blink or change color.

STEP 3 – Check connection before next update

Once the Wireless Technology Firmware Update is complete, you will be prompted to also install the Host Firmware Update. Make sure you still have a good connection with your IntelliConnect.  

STEP 4 – Install Second update


Once you have a good connection, press “Install Update” in your Pentair Link2O Technology App to install the Host Firmware Update. Once the update begins, a screen will appear that says, “Device Updating!” Do not disconnect power from your IntelliConnect during this installation process. During the Host Firmware Update, the link light will turn an amber color.

STEP 5 – UPDATE COMPLETED

Once the Wireless Technology and Host Firmware Updates are complete, you are good to go! New functionality will be available soon - so stay tuned!
