Engaging employees to work together to strengthen communities
Pentair is proud of all things that help make us a great corporate citizen, especially our passionate and involved employees. Working to improve our communities, Pentair’s employees join together to effectively drive innovation and demonstrate impact at scale.
As “Team Pentair,” employees give time and talent to important issues, providing leadership to help improve communities where we live and work. Employees are encouraged to volunteer in teams, using their collective resources to support nonprofit organizations in Pentair communities with grants matched by the Pentair Foundation.
Pentair is also taking an active role, through investment and volunteerism, in community efforts to address racial, social justice and equity issues, as well as rebuilding efforts in impacted communities. This includes five hours of paid time off for each of our nearly 10,000 employees globally as well as a double match by the Pentair Foundation for employee qualifying contributions to non-profit organizations engaged in working on racial, social injustice and equity issues.
To support volunteerism while acknowledging the changes due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements, Pentair is enhancing its matching gift program to include virtual team activities through the remainder of 2020.
