Pentair’s sustainability commitments and actions have been recognized by being included in the 2025 Corporate Knights Europe 50 list*, which highlights the most sustainable companies in Europe. The 2025 Europe 50 list recognizes European companies that are setting the tone for global sustainability efforts, with standout performance in sustainable revenue, investment, and governance practices.
I’m also proud to share that Pentair has also been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series**, which recognizes the performance of companies around the world that demonstrate specific environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria including corporate governance, health and safety, anti-corruption and climate change.
These recognitions reinforce Pentair's meaningful progress and ongoing commitment to sustainability. Earlier this year, we released our 2024 Sustainability Report in which we announced that we achieved our environmentally-focused Social Responsibility Targets set in 2021, including over 51% reduction in greenhouse gas emission and over 32% reduction in absolute water withdrawal.
These achievements and the actions that led to them are a testament to the dedication of Pentair employees across the globe and the success of incorporating sustainability into business strategy. I’m pleased to share that we continue to build on these accomplishments with the announcement of new Sustainability Strategic Targets, which set our ambitions for sustainability even higher in the areas of water stewardship, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, and product design for sustainability.
I’m excited about the opportunity we have to continue to innovate in creating smart, sustainable water solutions and lead in how we operate to create a more sustainable future for our environment and communities by Making Better Essential.
