Pentair’s ongoing mission to help the world sustainably move, improve and enjoy water, life’s most essential resource, is made possible with the help of our skilled, passionate employees. I am proud to share that Pentair has been recognized for the second year in a row as a 2026 Handshake Early Talent Award winner, an honor that celebrates employers who are leading the way in early career opportunities.

The Handshake Early Talent Awards spotlight employers who are shaping best practices for early talent recruiting. This year, Pentair was one of 292 winning employers across 17 industries. This distinguished recognition reflects our continued commitment to creating meaningful, hands-on opportunities for students and recent graduates and to building a strong pipeline of future talent across our organization. 

  • Robust Recruiting Program: Pentair’s campus recruiting program is designed to make a meaningful impact, spanning eight key business functions and reaching students at ten core universities across the United States. At the heart of our strategy is a clear purpose: to attract, develop, and retain the next generation of talent equipped with the skills, curiosity, and leadership mindset needed to shape Pentair’s future.
  • Meaningful Leadership Development Program: Pentair actively fosters early career growth through our Leadership Development Program. This program offers dynamic, accelerated experiences designed to turn high‑potential recent graduates into the leaders of tomorrow, while making a tangible impact across our global organization.
  • Impactful Summer Internship Program: Pentair further cultivates future talent through an impactful, annual summer internship program. Each intern is assigned to a real-world, strategic business project, ensuring every single intern leaves a lasting, positive impact on the organization. Interns also participate in a mentorship program, networking circles, volunteering events, and more to get the most of their experience.
